MIC Presents! Solo Songwriters Night : Showcasing inspired and diverse solo artists with new material

PANTALEIMON, The Resident, Nemo Jones & Sam Carayannis

PANTALEIMON

Pantaleimon is the moniker of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andria Degens. A well-travelled artist now based in Devon, her music sits at the intersection of psych-folk and experimental songwriting, pairing acoustic guitar, octave mandola, and Appalachian dulcimer with clear, understated vocals. Andria plays a rare solo set at the Moor Imagination Centre. Stripping things back to a pure singer-songwriter format, she will be performing tracks from across her catalogue, including albums Mercy Oceans and Butterfly Ate The Pearl. Expect a focused, intimate performance defined by hypnotic repetition, space, and quiet intensity.

The Resident

The Resident is the alt-folk alias of songwriter Kris Warren, best known as the vocalist of art-pop band PolSky. Through intimate performances built around detuned acoustic guitar, analogue electronics and expressive vocals, the songs explore deep psychological landscapes and existential themes, drawing on the introspective songwriting of Nick Drake and John Martyn, with a quiet nod to the counterculture roots of Nico and The Velvet Underground.

Nemo Jones

Faithless alumni with deep anarcho punk roots blends soul with a goal, the groove that soothes and the fire to take you higher

Sam Carayannis

'Lyrically dense folk-rock with labyrinthine structure, rooted in dreams, mythology, and the chaos of reality.'
