Sound bath - ihridaya & Eka

An intimate sound healing journey held in the beautiful setting of St Luke’s West Holloway church, bringing together ihridaya’s gong bath and a talented musician, in a spirit of creativity, exploration, and connection.

Each month features a new sound collaboration, making every gathering a unique experience.

The church’s stunning acoustics allow every note, vibration, and subtle texture of sound to come fully alive, creating a deeply immersive experience.
Whether you’re familiar with sound baths or joining for the first time, this is an opportunity to pause, rest, and immerse yourself in an evening of beautiful live sound.

I’m truly honoured to open this new chapter with beautiful and talented Eka @ekabandura, and her magnificent Bandura & voice.

Spaces are limited to maintain the intimate atmosphere, so advance booking is recommended.

What to expect?

7:05-7:15pm: Arrival and settling in (please no need to arrive earlier than 7:05pm as we'll still be setting up).
7:15pm: Doors closed and prompt start.
8:20pm: End of session.

Simply bring a mat, blanket, eye mask and anything else you need to feel comfortable. During the experience, there's nothing you need to do but just lie back, close your eyes, and allow yourself to be carried by layers of sounds and vibrations.

As the gongs blend with a live guest instrument, waves of sound gently wash through the space, offering a soothing sonic massage for body and mind. Many people leave feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed, and more connected to themselves.
 

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from fits (epileptics), or not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session. If you have any concerns, please speak with your doctor in advance.

Getting to St Luke’s

St Luke’s Church is a five minute walk from Caledonian Road Station (Piccadilly line) and seven minutes from Caledonian Road and Barnsbury Station (London Overground Mildmay line)

There is a bus stop outside the church (Hillmarton Road) for the 91 and other bus stops there. It's a five minute walk from Holloway Road which is well-served by buses.

There is plenty of cycle parking on Penn Road and some in the church grounds. Bicycles are not allowed inside the building. 
There's no car parking available on site, but there is on-street parking (limited pay and display). Blue badge holders can park in residents’ bays on Hillmarton Road and on Penn Road.

Accessibility

St Luke’s is an accessible venue with a step-free entrance. There is also an accessible toilet.
