Feedback report

Neighbours across Devon had plenty of praise for a run of community gatherings, along with helpful ideas for the future. In Tavistock, music lovers filled The Printworks for the Medium Rare Groove Night, which drew plenty of grins and was hailed as a fabulous night out. Meanwhile, the Moor Imagination Centre on Chapel Street in Buckfastleigh welcomed households for the HALLOWEEN FAMILY GATHER, where local families expressed warm thanks for the organizers' hard work after a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

At The Forge Therapy Centre and Float Rooms in Totnes, attendees joined together for the SAMHAIN CELEBRATION, an evening of song, dance and reflection. While people appreciated the gathering, feedback suggested adjustments to the schedule. Guests noted that sitting on cushions on the floor for extended stretches proved uncomfortable and emotionally heavy, and they asked for more frequent movement, faster dancing and less focus on grief.

Residents in Buckfastleigh can look forward to a shared supper as the Moor Imagination Centre hosts its November Community Meal. Taking place on Chapel Street, the gathering invites neighbours and families to sit down together for food and company. The centre will bake seventy jacket potatoes and provide salad alongside a large vat of baked beans. People coming along are asked to contribute by bringing a jacket potato topping to share, accompanied by a written list of ingredients noting any allergens. The venue bar will be open to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the evening. The event is open to all, with children warmly welcomed, and donations are invited to support the centre's continued work within the local area.
