People in Sheffield looking to unwind have a new option in Neepsend. At Phase Fitness on Burton Road, Breath & Bass | Drum & Bass Breathwork Experience combines conscious breathing with high-tempo electronic music. Led by Macaulay Sutton and Lauren Bell, the three-hour group session pairs guided physical movement and drum and bass soundscapes with a relaxing sound bath played on crystal singing bowls.

Open to anyone aged 16 and over, the evening is designed for complete beginners as well as experienced breathwork practitioners, particularly those feeling overwhelmed, struggling to switch off or carrying physical tension. Participants move through energising exercises and conscious breathing before resting during the sound healing and taking away practical relaxation techniques to use at home. Attendees need to bring comfortable clothing, a water bottle, a yoga mat and a blanket.
