A selection of gatherings around Glastonbury is drawing local interest, offering quiet spaces for reflection, creative storytelling and spiritual practice.

At St Benedicts Church, the Community Grief Tending Ritual – Honouring Our Ancestors welcomes anyone carrying loss, whether for someone who has died, a changed relationship or an ended chapter of life. The gathering combines somatic movement, breathwork and journalling with traditional Raag music played on the bamboo flute. Nearby at the Avalon Centre, the non-residential GLASTONBURY Kundalini Activation Process (KAP) & Non-Dual Retreat offers energy sessions and visits to the local springs and the Tor. Participants lie on yoga mats to music, though organisers advise that the event is not suitable for people with epilepsy or certain psychiatric conditions.

Just outside town, Paddington Farm hosts the residential skein weekender, where poet-facilitators lead communal circles of spoken recollections and images. It is open to non-performers, though attendees share in cooking and must manage a twisting staircase to reach the workshop room.
