Somerset residents have several gatherings to choose from over the coming weeks, offering creative pursuits and quiet spaces to unwind. At Makers' Yard in Frome, a Winter Circle welcomes people of all genders to share herbal tea, join a conversation circle, and craft protective ornaments known as witches balls using dried flowers, crystals, and herbs. Nearby in Rode, women seeking an antidote to seasonal rush can visit the Memorial Hall for Deep Rest Connection, which combines intuitive movement, yoga, and Yoga Nidra relaxation, followed by tea and sweet treats.
Over in Evercreech, the Dreamweavers yurt hosts two distinct events. Circus performer Bullzini leads The Laughing Oracle Clown Workshop, an all-day session exploring improvisation, games, and breathwork for beginners and performers alike. The yurt also opens for Yurtopia Sunday Dance & Sauna, featuring unchoreographed dancing to music from a resident DJ, followed by time in a wood-fired sauna and a cold plunge bath.
