Two wellbeing workshops focusing on connection and touch are taking place across Bristol today.

At the Bedminster Quaker Meeting House, Platonic Touch Pods with Agata - The Human Mycelium Project offers a guided practice in therapeutic, mindful touch. Run in small groups, the fully clothed and platonic session uses communication and boundary agreements to explore human interconnectedness. Attendees need no prior experience, though participants must be willing to self-regulate and protect the space.

Across town at the Wildgoose Space in St Werburghs, Coupling for Couples Temple invites people to explore intimate connection and relational dynamics through Contact Improvisation dance, Tantric meditations and communication tools. Open to all genders, singles, friends and couples, this sober gathering asks participants to bring a shared lunch dish and an offering for the shrine. Prior experience of sacred temple or sensuality spaces is required.

A gathering focused on communication and touch is coming up in Bristol. The Winter Warmer Intimacy Jam takes place at Gasworks Studio on Narroways Road. Facilitated by cuddle therapist Treasure, the event welcomes people of any background, relationship structure, neurodiversity and physical ability who want to practice relating to others without pressure.

Participants start in a welcome circle before moving through guided connection exercises to explore consent skills and communication. After sharing food and conversation together, the group transitions into an open session where attendees can choose how to spend their time, whether that means cuddling, exchanging massages, dancing, resting or simply watching. The entire gathering is sober, fully clothed and non-sexual, with a focus on clear boundaries and personal choice. The venue has step-free access through the back entrance and an accessible toilet.
