Live comedy, barefoot dancing and fireside tales are on offer across Sheffield. Down in Neepsend, Alder hosts the World of sheds Christmas show, a live sitcom and theatre performance following the chaos of community and friendship. The night offers two performances, including an earlier family-friendly staging suitable for anyone aged ten and above, followed by an evening show for adults.

Over at Highfield Trinity Methodist Church, Ecstatic Dance with Reya offers a sober, free-form movement session guided by a live DJ. Dancers go barefoot or wear socks, skip the conversation on the floor, and move freely through varied music styles without steps to learn or judgment. Meanwhile, Meersbrook cafe Kopi and Chai welcomes listeners to take off their shoes for HOMELY TRUTHS: a cosy evening of stories. Hosted by Dave, with songs from Iona and drinks from Kat, the evening invites guests with blankets and cushions to hear a spoken tale from storyteller Yoyo, accompanied by live music and the option to share personal stories of their own.
