A gentle outdoor practice in south-east London offers local residents an easy way to start their day with a clear head. Held at The Point on Maidenstone Hill, Fresh Mornings: Half an Hour to Ground Yourself for the Day is run by local guide Kathi, who leads a thirty-minute routine designed to wake up the body through slow movement, breath awareness, embodiment exercises, and noticing the surrounding nature.

The outdoor sessions take place on natural, uneven grass, whatever the weather, so attendees are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes and dress for the elements. It is not an intense workout, and anyone can take part, adapting or sitting out any exercises as they see fit. The gatherings are free to attend, with optional donations collected to support the community garden run by The Albany in Deptford.
